About the Startup:
We are enthusiastic to make marine sector more innovative because nothing there yet. Vessels are old, technologies are old and that means more cost and more harm to the environment. Idea was already there but with Gelectric we started to say out loud. As Gelectric, we provides sustainable and innovative marine electrical solutions for old vessels to make them regulationary compliance.

Efil Bengisu Saygı is our CEO and Co-Founder. She is an electrical engineer with the marine electric experiences more than 5 years. Rıza Özdülger is our CTO and Co-Founder. He is an experienced software and IIoT engineer. These two have previous startup experience together created in Turkey and expanded to the USA.
Problem and Opportunity:
Over seventy five thousand ships that are struggling with new environmental regulations and high maintenance costs. Regulations will stop ships from using their own generators while they are docked at port and while approaching those ports they have to reduce their speed but then they lose their generator connection. And, with our previous experience, we saw that 70% of electrical motors coming in for maintenance were already burnt or broken. Those two sides brought us a chance to create new innovative and sustainable soltuions while making vessels regulation compliance also we are help them reducing their downtime and maintenance costs.

Go-to-market plan:
We have paid PoC with our regulationary solutions. Now our main focus is to achieve our "real" first customer with our solutions. At the same time we are focusing to finalize the predictive maintenance solution after that we start to create monthly recurring revenue for the company.
To do that, best customer development strategy for Gelectric is attending focused business group in Netherlands, and sector focused exhibitions. Making partnership with innovation centers and business group will create to chances of acquiring customers.
Traction & Milestones:
We have 2 paid PoCs with the regulationary solutions. Our revenue is around €50.000.
Our next big step is complete our first funding round at Q1 2023.
In Q2, we will achieve our first global contract and hire more team members.
In Q3, we will hit the 5 vessels with the predictive maintenance.
In Q4, we will achieve 20 vessels.
